Young scientists Council

The Council of young scientists is a permanent Advisory body of the University, a meeting of young scientists, teachers, postgraduates and doctoral students. Within the framework of the Council there are four committees corresponding to the directions of its activity: scientific, methodological, grant support Committee and external relations Committee.


Objectives of the Council:

• development of scientific and professional potential to stimulate innovative activity of young scientists and teachers;

• promotion of information support of scientific researches of young scientists and teachers, professional growth of scientific youth, development of youth scientific and pedagogical initiatives;

• Association of scientific youth, preservation of scientific potential, consolidation of young scientific and teaching staff, dissemination of research results of young scientists, their implementation in practice;

• promotion of strengthening and development of international relations of young scientists;

• development of proposals and measures to encourage young scientists and teachers


To achieve its objectives, the Council shall undertake the following tasks:

• supports and coordinates activities aimed at the development of scientific initiatives of young scientists, their professional growth and consolidation of young personnel;

• organizes informational and methodological support of conditions of professional growth of young scientists;

• searches for new forms of work of young scientists, initiates their implementation in practice, generalizes and distributes the positive experience of scientific work of various departments and other Russian and foreign organizations;

• represents interests of young scientists in state, municipal, scientific, public organizations and mass media;

• cooperates with student organizations and attracts young scientists to the development of scientific activities of students;

• prepares expert-analytical, informational and other materials related to the activities of the Council;

• ensures the maintenance of scientific continuity, development of scientific directions of the University;

• makes suggestions to the management on improvement of working conditions, social security and introduction of forms of encouragement for outstanding representatives of scientific youth;

• organizes and conducts scientific conferences, seminars, visiting schools and other events in which young scientists and teachers can participate;

• carries out accumulation, exchange and generalization of experience of functioning of Councils of young scientists and teachers of other universities and other organizations.
