Center for clinical research, evaluation and technology transfer

The center carries out the work the purpose which is development of transfer of results of scientific researches and implementation of consulting and expert activity in clinical researches.

To achieve the goal, the center solves the following types of tasks in two main directions.

According to clinical studies it is:

1. Informing pharmaceutical companies about the possibility of conducting clinical trials;

2. Consideration of applications for conducting all types of clinical pharmacological studies, drugs, and dietary supplements research, preparation of contracts, coordination with all participants in the study, control over their execution;

3. Conducting clinical trials to establish the safety of drugs for healthy volunteers and (or) their tolerability by healthy volunteers, with the exception of such studies of drugs produced outside the Republic of Kazakhstan;

4. Selection of optimal dosages of the drug and the course of treatment for patients with a certain disease, optimal doses and vaccination regimens immunobiological drugs healthy volunteers

5. Determination of drug safety and efficacy for patients with a certain disease, preventive efficacy of immunobiological drugs for healthy volunteers;

6. To study the possibility of expanding indications for medical use and detection of previously unknown side effects of registered drugs and dietary supplements.

In terms of technology assessment and transfer it is:

1. The involvement of scientists, staff and students of Kazmuce for the development of new innovative solutions, assistance in the protection and commercialization of intellectual property;

2. Enhancing the capacity of scientific personnel in the field of technology transfer;

3. Solution of the complex problem of creation and support of the system of effective use of the scientific potential of the University;

4. To promote the development and expansion of research, scientific, technical and innovative activities of the University.

5. Implementation of strategic directions of the unified University scientific policy.
